A small studio
for the long way around.
MYB Studio is a boutique recording and production house run out of Pennsylvania. We do mastering, mixing, video editing, and the administrative work behind a music career — for artists who want their work treated like art rather than content.
⌘ Studio statement
We came up loving the records that didn't sound perfect — the ones with a hand on the tape, a room in the room, a person on the other side of the glass.
The industry, mostly, has moved away from that. Records are made on deadline now, mixed on planes, mastered through plug-in chains designed to sound like everything else. There's a market for that. We're not it.
MYB Studio is small and stays small. We take work we believe in, finish it slowly, and keep the artist in the room — even when the room is a Zoom call.

Slow on purpose.
We take fewer projects so each one gets the time it deserves. A mix isn't a 24-hour turnaround — it's a conversation that ends when the record sounds like itself.

The boring work counts.
Distribution, registration, splits, royalties — the unglamorous side of releasing music is where most artists lose money. We treat it as part of the craft, not an afterthought.

Your record, not our taste.
Our job is to serve what you're trying to make. We bring opinions when asked and deference when not. The goal is always your record — sounding like the version that lived in your head.

Mourad Youssef Bouajaja
Songwriter, producer, and the person on the other end of every email. I've spent the last several years releasing my own music and learning the music business from the inside — registering with BMI and the MLC, navigating Spotify and Apple Music for Artists, handling distribution, royalty hygiene, and the hundred small things that artists usually don't see until something goes wrong.
MYB Studio is what I wished existed when I started: a place that takes the music seriously, takes the business seriously, and treats the artist as the partner rather than the product.
